Quantrian Series 3
With a revised algorithm that includes new quantumly-random layering, rotation, and color modes, as well as a circular format, Series 3 images are the next generation of Quantrian. The algorithm's generative art remains square-based, but some layers are converted from Cartesian to polar coordinates.
Series 3 begins at #151 and is currently in progress.
Quantrian Series 2
Synthesized from the uniquely generative images of Series 1, the Series 2 collection was produced by randomly-selected pairs of existing Quantrian images assigned by the algorithm to the artist-programmer to cut, layer, blend, and reconceptualize into new works as explorations for new algorithms.
Series 2 picked up at the end of Series 1 with images #101 to #150, and is now complete.
Quantrian Series 1
Fully generated through algorithms inspired by modern art masters Piet Mondrian, Ellsworth Kelly, Vera Molnár, and many others, Quantrian Series 1 used truly random quantum energy measurements to direct digital paintings that explored the pure forms of square and line, and experimented with hue and shade. Generative images were then curated by the artist-programmer.
Series 1 is complete with images #001 to #100.
